Agreed on the 2d > extrude thing being a bad idea, but I've always been more partial to starting with a basic shape that envelops the car's full volume, and adding detail with edge loops.

 

Is it based on the DSC Forklift ?

i think its 100NX not 200NX
200NX is supposed to be a fictional name in the same series as the 200BX

 

going along pretty well, have a comparro of my sedan and the hatch. Might not have anymore updates today, will go finish up some older works and prepare them for my portfolio.

I mean the front should be swapable on the hatch, that's the thing I'll try to make myself to work in beam, a coupe I might do later, who knows

 

It doesn't look like most of the cars you mentioned either, for that matter...

It looks remarkably close to the 100NX, sure, but the window profile of the Nissan isn't that dissimilar to the Calibra (or the MX-6 in your list) after all...
