If anyone needs a quarantine pastime, just get a piece of paper and a pencil, then draw or doodle something, idk.
I wonder when @MrAnnoyingDude is gonna respond to my comment. It'll be really interesting to see what he thinks of trade school and community college. Anyways, let's get this thread to page 2000 by the time it reaches 10:00 PM in my area. It's currently 8:48 PM in my area as of me writing this.
help i don't know what this is and i'd rather not know edit: nvm, found the problem, it's just some buggy software
Building a macOS version of Valve Proton has made me remember why I love macOS so much and why I despise Windows so much. The experience here with multi-tasking (even on my 11 year old Mac) is just so smooth. It's still GPU accelerating the UI just fine enough for desktop switching to be a silky smooth experience with the 1920x1200p display. Nothing had a screen resolution like that in 2009. Granted, you can kind of feel the 9600M GT struggle a little when it comes to modern 3D apps trying to take advantage of the screen resolution. This also has one of the best keyboards ever fitted to a notebook. I can't believe Apple gave up this lovely scissor switch for the stupid butterfly crap, and now the modern ultra-low profile scissor. They both don't feel anywhere near to as good as to how this feels. I just need to max out the ram and it'll be a great little (well, massive, it's a 17") knock around piece for me. The extra *nix command line knowledge I've gained in the past few years have really helped me get the most out of it while I'm building all of these .lib folders. It's nice to see how much of my Linux knowledge has translated over to the BSD/Unix core of macOS. Lovely. All hail the late 2000's Mac.
Thanks @HeadlightsThePerson, @Phym, @SuperchargedAndSavage!, @michael_zowski, and @Nathan24™ for reviewing my James E-20 mod. Anyways, can we get this thread to Page 3000 by December 31, 2020 or no? EDIT: 2100, not 3000.
