Quick question. Why is the link to your Tacoma map removed? I wanted to try it out so badly but I can't download it.
People had issues with the ramps not being even and the track being too cluttered so it went away for now..
So, i tried recreating bigfoots boeing jump, but with a spin, jumping 1 B-25 Mitchells, then 5 B25 Mitchells, that was a hard landing.
honestly I do not know who the mods are, but a lot of the main people who were active in the production of this mod or commenting about those who did are being ridiculously rude to any newcomers coming and asking about stuff. Do you guys understand how this page is? no one is going to read through 115 pages of crap to find out a specific question. anyone new showing up doesn't understand the ins and outs of your cliquey group. Honestly praying for the best of those in charge through this difficult time. but please for the sake of keeping any sort of openness to this community lighten up on those who do not understand.
Search engines in forums are far from new. It doesn't hurt to spend a minute searching for an answer to your question before asking it to see if it's already been answered. Not trying to add fuel to any fires here, but this is forum common sense 101.
You guys ain't wrong. I think people just need to learn how to do these computer and mod stuff before joining the forums. It's best for their sanity and it helps them to understand how to do jobs such as map and skin making and eventually work their way up the ladder and get into a full time job. Who knows maybe that will happen. Although I do hope Flying's family, himself and others around the globe are safe and we will all get through this pandemic together. Even I don't know. I wish people would just learn how to do stuff rather than complain all the time to the dev's. Hopefully they'll figure it out soon.
Ive noticed a reoccurring pattern lately: New account No profile picture Joined at most 1 week ago Cant spell to save their life "Gib mod now" I know Beam is more than likely considered an E-rated game but can the Forums Pleeeeaaaassseee have age verification now? rant over. I know bodies and the new axles are big parts of the mod that the devs are wanting to add, but what are some small things you guys plan on adding in the future, such as specialized engines and what not? I remember you guys mentioning that you dont immediately plan to develop something for the mod that isnt already available on the CRD chassis, but have you guys considered one-off versions like electric or diesel driven power trains, or designing some of the vanilla cars in Beam as fiberglass shells? Just out of curiosity.
I support the idea but I don't think it's a priority I think right now the owner and the devs are waiting for this whole pandemic to end so they can finish the update how it is but im not sure if they are adding stuff im not in dev group so I'm not sure about what is planned
We have. We have been testing a diesel powertrain for over a year now but we’re awaiting for a truck to put it in. It’s not ready as it needs better torque curves, accurate sounds, and other things I may be missing. Electric powertrain would be nice as Bigfoot was the first to do it, so it’s possible, just probably not the right chassis. And about those vanilla bodies, @queenstar is has whipped up a D-Series body a while back and she’s revamping it now. So that would probably come in a later update.
it won't be in the main mod, it'll be part of my own pack, but yes it's coming when it's both ready and when i'm allowed to. currently it's the only body i had permission to make, but maybe in the future there'll be more. granted i'm given the permission and i have the motivation/time. not even sure if im supposed to show it yet so i won't bother to.
I figured out how to put the Box Van onto the CRD, and I would be lying if I said I didnt have the best time driving that chonker around. It drives how it looks, huge, slow, and supa chonky. Might make a video of me just driving the damn thing around, it was hilarious and fun.
