This has been discussed ad nauseam... "Ute" is mostly an australian term. Anywhere else "pick-up" identifies both dedicated trucks and car-based vehicles with a bed in the rear.

People, i think he mentioned this was the last content update.. next stuff will only include bugs fixes
if you want to be technical, "Ute" is just an aussie shortened version of "coupe utility", which was a broadly used term internationally around the 1920s for car-platform light trucks with a somewhat sculpted rear section, usually conjoined with the body. so i'd say it's fair to call any of these monocoque looking car-based utility/truck/pickup/etc. vehicles a "coupe utility". (and yes, i do find it kind of cringy when americans call el caminos "a yoot")
Hey @Nekkit, I'm not sure if you're planning to update this mod, but I have a suggestion for you. I learned about this interesting VAZ 2101 prototype variant while watching a Big Car video (in case if you don't who who Big Car is he is a YouTuber who makes car history videos). The prototype was called the VAZ 2801. It was an experimental electric version with nickel-zinc batteries and an aluminum frame. It was made in a panel van bodystyle. Unfortunately, the project failed due to a lack of EV charging stations in Russia. (skip to 1:43) Thanks for coming to my TED Talk.
