I'm thinking to make a thread about this after the porsche but i dont think....what do you guys think about it?
how do you not know ok here's a definition from wiki: In 3D computer graphics, normal mapping, or Dot3 bump mapping, is a technique used for faking the lighting of bumps and dents – an implementation of bump mapping. It is used to add details without using more polygons. A common use of this technique is to greatly enhance the appearance and details of a low polygon model by generating a normal map from a high polygon model or height map. Normal maps are commonly stored as regular RGB images where the RGB components correspond to the X, Y, and Z coordinates, respectively, of the surface normal. OT
Honestly I think it looks pretty awful and you should spend more time on it than the 20 minutes it took to shove a model with screwed up normals ingame and actually make something decent before posting, then you will actually feel good about making it as well as not hurting my eyeballs OT:
well yes, i worked on it like 30 mins thats it the normals getting fixed now...but the porsche actually looks good.
