So I always wondered why the Gavril vehicles (D series, Roamer, H series, Grand Marshal) have a redline at 5k when the engine revs to around 6k. Beam Devs please change the texture of the rpm gauges to show the correct redline at 6k. I have provided pictures to show what I mean. Thank you!

it's realistic. redline does not equal rev limiter.

Most of the time, redline is where the engine limits though.

not always. most average cars set redline a little lower, which is where the auto trans will usually shift. rev limiter is often a bit higher. my friend's jimmy has redline at 5000, rev limiter at 5500, and the trans shifts at around 5000 most of the time.

I see you dont know anything about cars
So here is the deal, the redline does not equal the rev limiter. The redline is just an indication of when you are about to reach the limiter. In some cases, there is no rev limiter at all.

And then there's the new Pessima gauges, which reach to 8K RPM but the needle stops moving at 7500 RPM. Makes sense

The H-Series doesn't have a redline on the RPM gauge

Probably because it's a commercial vehicle with only a factory automatic, you're only gonna use 2 and 1 on hills.
