he said yes and you said i was stupid --- Post updated --- Anyway, does anyone know what happened to the 1990 Ibishu Miramar thread? It's locked and I can't find out why. @NinetyNine!, do you have any information of this?
I think you need to be realistic. Youtube is an incredibly saturated market which provides little to no income. Plus, who are these people that are going to donate to your patreon and buy your merch? You're going to have to be incredibly good at what you do and have a very strong fan base. There's nothing wrong with starting it out as a hobby, then if you become successful it can turn into a career. Although it's not a very good career plan. It's very high risk with an incredibly unstable income
I probably will start it out as a hobby. Starting it out as hobby then turning it into a career would be a good idea. I could start out doing rants, then making a show or whatever. As for the Patreon thing, I don't know. I heard of Youtubers being able to quit their jobs to do Youtube because of it. My fans would buy the merch and donate to Patreon. My plan is to give YouTube or whatever a shot. If it can make me a living overtime, great. If it can't, then I'll do it as a hobby and go into trades or get a job. I'll try to build up an audience and promote my channel and give a link to it once I get a channel and make videos. About the "you gonna have to be incredibly good" thing. I think that's a good point. Improvement Pill does say "yOu oNly nEED tO Be someWHAT gooD aT wHat yOU dO tO mAKE a gOOD liviNG", but I disagree with that. Improvement Pill doesn't that bad of grammar by the way, but that's beside the point. I will most likely need to be good at what I do to make a living. If I feel like getting more creative with my show. I might have to put it somewhere else besides YouTube. It could be on TV or whatever, I don't know. It may not be on TV. Anyways, my career plan may very well be unrealistic, but I do have a backup plan in case it fails if that makes you feel any better. --- Post updated --- Guys, CN877 makes a very good point. Besides, I'm a teenager and I need to worry about other stuff. I don't think I should decide until I'm an adult. "Episode 1 of The Garrett Show" probably won't be here by December. I should wait until I'm a young adult to even start it. Thank you for your suggestions guys.
i do not know what to say to that besides shut up --- Post updated --- i mean NO HE DOESN'T!!! WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
eh i don't really care i watch it and that's all that matters now i will get back to my minecraft parkour, while eating cold mac and cheese and listening to lofi
Hey @CN877, @michael_zowski, and @Alex_Farmer557. Are there any alternatives to YouTube for making "entertainment" that you can a living wage off of? @appesh1, I actually know how to fill up my mower with gas when it runs out, believe it or not.
Cool. Anyways, I generally believe that money is important to me. A lot of people keep saying that YouTube is a risky source of income and they might be right. I would like to use Patreon as well, but I'm worried that may not even help. I hope my passion can make me a living. appesh1, I hope you can make a living off your passions. Thanks to everyone for giving me advice on this.
I get that that's supposed to be a joke and all, but I kind of took that offensively. He literally said he was and I didn't need you to say something like this.
