Hi just a thread to follow my 207cc mod I am currently modelling the cars and its variants. Just an update I've done the mechanics and I'll do the interior I hope that you're still up for the car I am no longer working on an other project.I hope to do the interior asap ,I know the model isn't perfect for now ,going through tough times but ain't gonna stop me, slow progress but still is progress .207cc mechanics, going somewhere: View attachment 701219
I would highly advise NOT to do a photoscan. Usually the polyflow is not good for beamng and is probably very hi poly. You could try to drop the poly count, but it would take as long as modeling the interior yourself.
@GabrielP04 Im just gonna do that to have a good base to model it and photo scan can actually have high poly but it needs quite a lot of images I think
That's the problem. I would imagine that it would be tens of thousands of poly just for the dashboard. I'm advising not to use it as the final product. It's actually a good idea to use it as an outline you can trace around and build from there. Or is that what you were saying? Good luck.
Yeah, that's a good idea if you have a vehicle to scan. I also saw some programs that use images to make 3d models, but they're probably not very accurate. At least with that you can get the shape too.
I got a 207cc and a 207 to scan but im not sure if I want to do SW variant since SW is really bad looking
it's pretty ugly but would be fun to crash. It would make sense to have it since the Vivace is a hatchback.
Thanks for your kind comments I'm going to adjust some vertices and finish the back and do the rims and tires next
At the start only so I can set up the mechanics and shared parts with other variants but in the end I planned to do : 207rc 207cc 207 five and three doors before facelfift and led taillights --- Post updated --- I'll try to make the roof retractable too @Shadowracer345
