I can't upload files to a conversation in the forum

I tried everything I could think of and it keeps saying "uploads are not available" when I try to upload zip files to a conversation that I started. not only that but the person I'm talking to seems to be able to upload just fine

 

That feature was taken away big sad, use google drive.

Tbh I really don’t know.

 

The same reason any other feature gets restricted. People abuse it too much, or it otherwise became problematic.

 

it was removed for "security reasons" as best i recall

 

That means either an exploit was found with the forum aoftware involving the attachments or people were sending not so nice files through PM or something. Most likely an exploit though.
