The detail is great in this game, but what i would love is if your car will behave differently at different points of damage. So if it's partly damage, and you slow to an idle, it might stall and not start again for a couple of tries. Then gradually as it gets more damage, it stalls a lot and is difficult to keep running. At the moment, it seems that it either runs or dies. And i would love to be able to attempt to start the engine in "broken" condition. Thanks
I am yet to come across having trouble with idling etc....is there settings i can play with to make this happen?
just rev the hell out of your car without a rev limiter. Abuse the engine, remove the radiator, I don't know just mess around with stuff. Beam has a very detailed engine simulation imo.
Im not sure the engine damage system is that much detailled, if the engine is partially damaged it will only reduce engine's power, so it will have more difficulties to hold idle rpm but it will never stall or have trouble to start as randomhero said above (except longer ignition time). I don't know if it would be easy or not to add those behaviour but it would be cool (more realism = more better )
I agree. I would also love to get more than just "losing power" and to see other interesting things like rougher idle, stalling automatically, issues starting up, or having to give it gas to heat up the engine to let it idle correctly.
