You could possibly look at truck dealerships in your local area, find one that has a Freightliner with one of those engines, explain what you want to do and they may let you come down and record sounds.
Not actively working on it. Though technically changes and upgrades to this does contribute to that. It needs a total jbeam upgrade, the cab isn't jbeamed properly, the cab is missing a bunch of model pieces, the interior isn't modeled at all, no textures on it, etc. Not much motivation to work on it atm either.
Will there be custom engine sounds for the bus or is that not neccessary? Just wondering since the default diesel sound just doesn't really fit the bus, at least in my opinion.
I 100% love this mod. I own a 2005 Freightliner FS-65 with a CAT C7 and an Allison MD3060 that I rode as a kid and later bought from my school district this year. And I have go to say this is by far the most in depth mod that I have seen and by far the best on here. Please keep up the good work! With that being said here is a picture of mine. I'm gonna try to make me a skin of it. Just wish there was and option for the body to not have the lower lines but thats cool. I love the mod!
Is it possible to do some high quality engine sound recordings? That's the only thing this mod is missing now.
Okay, I'm sorry if this is off topic at all, but I have to acknowledge how cool it is that you bought the bus you rode to school as a kid.
Next time I am around the bus I may be able to do that but I'm not sure if my phone would be high quality enough for that but I do have videos of it idling and of when I was driving it at some point.
Update day confirmed? Hopefully. I'll update the title next time it updates too so you can tell there's actually an update.

So I understand that the beeping when the bus is first summoned is an air tank for something being filled, and once it fills to an appropriate level it stops beeping. Is there a part to remove to make it so the beeping is perminant? If not, is there a plan to make it possible?
