Keyboard and Mouse not working

Hello everyone, recently (after the update) the game sometimes just ignores the keyboard and mouse. I'm not quite sure what the problem is but before I also had a message with a problem with directX9 but I don't think that is an issue. To fix this a have to reinstall the game. Also when I press X to close the game, steam still thinks it is running, to resolve this I have to go into task manager and under the "Steam Client Bootstrapper" it shows BeamNG.drive.exe still running.

I'm not quite sure if this is an issue with the new update or just my computer

That's really weird.

Either your installation is partially broken, or something external to the game is causing those issue.

For the first, use the Steam Verify tool to check:

Also make sure that your Antivirus and similar are not messing with Steam and the game.

For the second, check this:

Although this usually causes Controller or Steering wheels to not appear, never heard of Keyboard and Mouse not working before..

What did you do to fix this? Just got this exact issue with the latest hotfix.
