Lunchbox You 're right to work with the soft, but keep your intention on the shape first, not on the details
So if you distribute it, it is basically stealing their content a.k.a. copyright infringement a.k.a. pirating. Even if it is free - it is not made by you.
Jailbreaking = voiding of warranty, thats it. Copyright violation = law. And sadly there is a difference between free and open source :/
He probably used photoshop (or similar) to crop the images then replaced the asset files with the BeamNG images with identical names. Now the game displays them instead of the originals. Either way, still breaking so many laws. In the UK: Computer misuse act (in multiple places) Copy write law (both for using BeamNG content and for the app stuff) There will be almost identical laws in most countries. Including America. Jailbreaking is breaking the terms of service. It could also possibly be put under the computer misuse act in the UK if Apple had a reason to dislike you. Not sure what laws Apples legal team would shape to their liking in other countries. And that's just what i could come up with, im sure anyone with a more solid knowledge of law would be able to find many more issues.
The EU enacted some sort of legislation to prevent apple from taking legal action against you leaving you with the usual apple only being able to void your warranty. That doesnt protect the guys actually developing the hacks but so far their response to them has been to patch them out, which I think is stupid, surely it shows that people want some of these features and they should add them to the stock firmware??? I understand them not endorsing the piracy based hacks of course, but the hacks actually adding more utility to your device are kinda showing apple how things should be done.
Well now that Steve jobs has gone they seem to be opening up. IOS8 seems to have a lot of really nice new features (even if they have been in android for ~4 years... ). I really think apple needed Steve jobs to go, as far as i can tell from an outside perspective he seemed like a total nut job. But i didn't know him personally so i cant say much i guess...
well he's dead so no one will get to know him now... stick with Android, they are simply better devices.
lookit what you did!! I just added that in, because I speak the TRUTH!! screw apple and their micro-managed OS's!!
I say both are fine. I think iOS is great for consumers, not advanced users, and it's nice for games and such. It may have lots of software restrictions, and the tech may be expensive and similar, but it's okay overall. Android is for both consumers and advanced users, and it helps with the advanced users. You have to learn to look at app perms(IMO), and you have to learn it a bit.
