What were the oldest (earliest production year, that is) cars you remember having been used as daily drivers? When were they still considered daily drivers? Well, the earliest cars I remember seeing in daily use were the last of the W115 Mercedes-Benzes prowling the Polish strees in the mid-00s. There may also have been early 70s Polski Fiat 125ps and 126ps, as well as Żuks, but I didn't know enough about cars to tell how old the ones I was seeing were.
Not only saw, but captured few of them. From other cars remember, there was a FSO 125p Wagon, also Opel Rekord P2 Wagon, as well as numerous 101s, 750s and 1300s from 70s.
Oldest ones i could remember would be a f100 from the 60s/early 70s. you see 70s f150s all the time still. in michigan you cant get a break from all the old american cars
plenty of ~XD falcons and ~VB commodores, in probably 2004 at earliest (I was 3 y/o) so that's late 70's or early 80's.
2 best classic car for everyday Lancia Gamma 1979 and the poorest car in the 70's Skoda Type 742 1986
Ford Model A with V8 i think. Unfortunately,i don't have a photo of it anymore it was shot like 4 years ago. But i still remember how fascinating it was. Now it's gone for restoration
1979 BMW 320/6 1957 Goggomobil TS300 1971 Honda N600 (predecessor of the famous Civic) 1963 Ford Cortina (first car for normal dad who is proud)
The obvious memory for me would be my Dad's first car, a 1970 Hillman Hunter, which he had from about 1974-1988. Here it is battling snow for fun:
In China, as far as I can remember, people uses seventh generation Toyota Crown as their family car :
earliest daily driver I know is probably a car a close friend of mine has. A 1937 Dodge Delivery Coupe. Looks basically just like this, NOT a pic of actual car... But all original... And next to oldest, 1953 DeSoto Hemi. All original except for lowering... Pic of actual car...
