There's no textures pack. There are two files that are inter dependant. The addon pack contains all the cars, and the main mod on the repository contains the basic black car, and some textures for the addon pack, not all of them. If you don't have the main mod, you'll get no textures on glasses and other places. Just check that you have both parts of the mod in your mods folder.

*rates informative*. I have a question. How've you been lately?

 

I am very new to BeamNG - having an issue with seeing the floor pan of the 80's full-size mod; when inside the vehicle, I look down and can see the road, transmission, driveshaft - not the floorboard, carpeting, like a glass bottom boat kinda thing. Any ideas to help? I have reinstalled Steam, BeamNG, reloaded all the mods, etc.

 

Clear your cache. This is happening when you have an older version of the mod in cache conflicting with the new one. Also make sure you have both two parts of the mod, the repository version and the addon pack. You should be fine then

 

I just want to say, absolutely love this mod. What cars should be IMO-- long, low, wide, box body, and uniquely American. No other country ever made cars that looked quite like these. I think Australia came close with the Kingswood, but maybe not quite as large as these. These cars did make it to places like Mexico, Canada, South America, and the oil countries of the Middle East... but again, they were enjoying our cars... not making ones like these themselves.

These have a special place in my heart-- I learned to drive in a navy blue 1981 Buick LeSabre diesel. Not an Oldsmobile, but on the same platform as either the Regency 98 or the Delta 88. Can't really discern which-- but close. All those GM large B-Platform cars of the early 80's.

The diesel was an absolute dog, but it was a good solid car that was fairly hard to speed in, so I believe that pleased my parents to no end. It was my father's company car at the time, so it's not like I got practice time in it on a regular basis, but on weekends, I would garner my hours where I could.

 

Thanks for your feedback The Buick LeSabre is a B-body as you mentioned so it's a cousin of the Delta 88. The Regency is a C-body, like the Cadillac Deville. C-bodies are almost 10 centimeters longer, it's noticeable on the rear doors that are longer and more squarish.

 

Hey! nothing to do with neither, but, do you know an easy way, to modify the suspension?
For example use Hydraulics (and wheels) easely on your cars?

EDIT: i'm asking an "easy" way, because I only use beamng on my office, after work. I don't have a PC yet on my house, so i can't spend the time i would love to.

 

Thank you for the fine details. I wouldn't have known that. The Capital Letter designations on the GM cars have long confused me... and that's where Wikipedia comes in handy!
