Hey long before now most of the details were set in stone for this vehicle by @Sithhy™ . I understand not wanting to look through a 97 page thread to find that info though. After three years of development, most would expect the details to be confirmed.

You would, but I won't :) The name has been set in stone for quite a while now. I had it called a Bruckell somewhere back in the past, but then someday, in the deep depth of my mind, the name "Brutus" came up & felt like it was a perfect fit for the vehicle, considering it has a "tough" ring to it, just like what the Hummer is supposed to be; a tough vehicle.

As for engines, I have 2 additional powerplants in mind, but not sure if we will go through with both, seeing as one of them might have us do some extensive make-overs in the engine bay as even with the current engines, the amount of 'realistic' free space is quite minor & I'm not feeling like doing it :p

I am just a big fan of big-block chevys, hence the Bruckell 470cui engine.

You just being a fan doesn't enable the idea of changing a name that has been here for so long imo

That was not the reason for Bruckell. I never insisted, I just said that was how I would do it.

Sithhy has been working on adjusting some things in the mesh (something I actually asked him to do for once... not him deciding to redo everything again )

TrackpadUser has been working on tuning, adjusting, and refining the JBeams I created... all while also helping push the project forward and teaching me some things along the way.

I have been following Trackpad's teachings and rebuilding just about all the JBeams to work in a new format. They were in oldschool me format... they are now updated to a modern format (didn't take anywhere near as much time as it sounds as Notepad++ is a hell of a tool)

So, unless Sithhy has something new to show in the Mesh file or something (which I don't think there is anything right now) I don't really have anything to "show" as everything looks the same as it did... on the plus side though, just know that we are getting even closer to the end of the tunnel ;)

Don't misinterpret that... still a lot to do... but marching ever closer to completion.

Would be kinda neat if this mod will be able to support that one cummins engine mod someone made a while back.

Well... Sithhy keeps adding engines to the mix of things to throw into the B1... like he just decided to stuff a Cummins 6BT in there the other day... so that's another engine I have to make. Not sure which mod your specifying, but I think we will have enough of our own Cummins hardware to satisfy.

Pretty sure the mod maker for that mod can do it himself. Once this is out of course.

Yeah, swapping engines into this thing is actually pretty easy. The only thing that throws you off slightly is that the engine is kicked to one side of the frame a little bit (just like the real thing) to make room for the driveline that runs up next to it... once you realize that though... it's a piece of cake.

    We got our own 4 & 6BT with a little surprise ;)

But for adding compatibility with the mod engines, I think @FakeCarGuy would need to do it on his end

All mods are FPS friendly depending on your computer

I don't really have a way of gauging that as I run a 24 Core monster, so it really has to be intense for me to notice any slowdown.
