This is a new project I've been working on - it's essentially a parts pack for the ETK I-Series to make it look more like the old E-Class Mercedes of the late 80s.

Looks good! Jsyk tho someone already made a mod like this called the ETK-W but it's outdated and now only functions with legacy pack mod fix. Otherwise really looking forward to it!

 

The mod is officially up and running! (N.B.: it may take some time to clear the approval process - unfortunately I can't give you precise figures on how long)

I have written this disclaimer on the official mod page, which (for those of you asking) is still in the approval process:

'I am quite aware that (the idea and appearance of) my mod is rather similar to a lot of other 'mercedes' mods, and I am happy to embrace this. This is really only my second mod, and it's certainly the first that I've put significant effort into, so thank you for taking the time to acknowledge its existence.

For those of you worried about copyright issues and the like, though I have taken inspiration from other projects, all of the models and files from this mod are either original, or have been modified from the default game files.'

I may upload the current (first) version above (^^^), but will take it down once the official mod page is authorised.

The ETK Type B2 hubcaps have the modern ETK logo on them. Also the thumbnails are off

 

Nice mod! Are you planning to add Brigsby and trimless versions of bumpers?

 

Thanks for the suggestion! I'll likely create body coloured trim for the bumpers (instead of trimless), to match the real vehicle better, and I may add brigsby parts later in the future.

 

it kinda reminds me of some of those old chinese cars that had merc grilles to look more upper class
