why not? --- Post updated --- also have you heard about the classical mini? thaey facelifted it three times, the last one was in the 70s and it was made in'59
Doesn't mean an 80s truck is going to last that long production-wise from the getgo. Even if you use something like a Chevrolet Express for example, that was a 90s van that was never significantly updated for a good while because it was already good enough as is. Basically, just because other cars lasted for a long time doesn't mean that this car can be an exception too.
I love how my thread on a mod I haven't worked on in almost a month suddenly became a discussion on whether a truck from the late 80s should be facelifted or not.
Instead of making it look like a real truck, do your own design. You seem like you can draw, so put together your resources and think of a design on your own that you can swap the D-Series with. Like maybe something more modern, which is what you originally wanted. All these "Real car swaps" I feel take the lore out of the game. All of the existing Beam vehicles represent real cars, but don't look exact, which is what a lot of swaps aren't nowadays. Doing an original swap is what we need so it breathes a new life into the D-Series. Not something most of us see on the roadway every day. That's just my two cents, do whatever pleases you though.
