Features: For features, check the official mod page: https://www.beamng.com/resources/etk-i-series-e-type.12972/ Issues (Unstarted, Investigating, Fixed, (Informant)): - 'e' lettering graphical glitch (@DamienDutch) - Lettering not showing up - Textures not showing up - Flexbody positions/rotations messed up (thanks blender) COMMENT ANY BELOW Provided below will be the current problem file (problematic features isolated into a single file) and some screenshots displaying some of the hubcaps and configurations (so far). Any help with these issues would be greatly appreciated. Date of first release (not considering approval period): Sunday, May 31st 2020, 17:00 GMT
I am quite aware that (the idea and appearance of) my mod is rather similar to a lot of other 'mercedes' mods, and I am happy to embrace this. This is really only my second mod, and it's certainly the first that I've put significant effort into, so thank you for taking the time to acknowledge its existence. For those of you worried about copyright issues and the like, though I have taken inspiration from other projects, all of the models and files from this mod are either original, or have been modified from the default game files.
Progress Update: Things to do: - Create/modify front + rear bumper jbeams (update node + license plate positions) - Figure out/fix the 'e' type lettering that's been irritating me for a while Progress Image:
As of now, the taillights, trunk lid and rear bodywork are all stock but the rear bumper is shortened and flatter, and there is a shortened (dual) exhaust to compensate.
