EDIT: Fixed an error @Phym, I have a question for you. Do you like Spongebob? If you do, that's fine. I on the other hand absolutely despise it. The animation (in my opinion) is really bothersome and stress me the crap out every time I think of it. @Srockzz, (I'm sorry for overtagging you), but could I use your angry cartoon guy pfp on Google images of "srockzz beamng" just as an image in posts to sum up my rage on stuff?
Yeah, I know, but the animation is really bad in my opinion. It bothers me a lot, tbh. Even that rant you just quoted in the post above mine was too long for my own good. I'm not saying I like him, but I agree that I've talked about him way too many times. Here's a question for you, can you give me any advice on how to improve my posts?
The animation doesn't bother me all that much but I guess I could see why some people wouldn't like it. I actually like the show in general though, even though it's far from my favorite animated show.
It's fine, I know a lot of people like the show. I don't, though. I mean, there are decent memes of the show, but in general. The show sucks in my opinion. I'm sure @fivedollarlamp will disagree with me, but I can't stand the animation. It really bothers me. Do you get stressed out when you think of the animation of the show? OT: @Blijo, How've you been lately?
Just take a break. Ranting about nonsense that half a dozen people care about is no way to go through life. I'm speaking from experience - life is a whole lot easier when you let go of needless negativity and let things be.
Only way is to DM one of the moderators/devs and just ask for the name change. Should take a few hours before they take it into effect.
That's a good point. I do like ranting on stuff and being negative, but ranting about self-improvement over and over again is redundant. Look, I have issues with self improvement stuff, but ranting about it constantly is boring. When you say "take a break", do you mean taking a break from ranting about self-improvement stuff? If you do, then I 100% agree. Like @KuchenVier said, pm the devs.
There is no need to make a dozen posts every day on a forum about a video game. Find something else to do, get a job, build a model kit, paint, just... something more productive than talking about YouTube videos on a forum.
I would like to keep being on here, but I shouldn't talk about YouTube videos on here a bunch. You're right, I should be more productive.
Thanks for asking, Could have been better. But I have (a lot of) work, a ton to do for scouts so I can fill my days. Oh, and a broken car (alternator is broken but I have to convince a bolt to come off first) You?
I'm doing fine. I hope you can get your car fixed. I have 3 questions for you. 1. What do you think of Spongebob? 2. Have you heard of Kid Rock? 3. What do you think of uni/higher ed?
My take: I'm not I would like any episode of Spongebob now. However, the animation has gotten worse in my opinion. It makes something like Family Guy or The Cleveland Show look like Psych2Go. The animation (especially in the new episodes) is absolutely tedious to look at. The character designs bother me so much. I know it might seem ridiculous that I'm asking this question to so many users, but I don't like the animation. Do you hate the new animation?
1. Not much, I didn't watch it when I was younger 2. No 3. Ehm... It depends on the country. It is not for everyone and should not be for everyone. I used to study at a theoretical university and I came to the conclusion that (certain parts of) the style and teaching was not something for me. This is university-specific but not something that doesn't happen. We have an alternative here called HBO or vocational/applied university. I think that higher education is important to learn certain skills. Those skills should be valued. But everyone is different and they should be able to follow the education they want and the education that suits them the best. TLDR: do what you like.
I remember taking a video editing class for my job back in the late 90's. We had a week of Premiere Pro 5. The very first thing we were shown was how to make the "Brady Bunch" style multi-shot video, even before we knew what we were doing. The dude just walked us through all the steps and at the end of that lesson, we had the video. I was hooked. The rest of the week, we learned what we were doing and how to do all kinds of other things. As a slight aside, I think somewhere in our heads (or in society, maybe), we get the idea that certain activities are only for the young. Heck, Tony Hawk is still doing amazing things on a skateboard. I hope the younger folks who are creating, playing, and having fun keep doing those things. Just because we get older and our life responsibilities may change and evolve doesn't mean we should stop having fun and stop doing the things we enjoy doing. Yes, this is my "old man advice," so bear with me. For the record, I am not a Boomer, I'm an Xer, but this will be very "Boomer-sounding." Haha! To the younger majority here: Keep having fun. Life will try desperately to suck the youth out of you. Don't let it. If at all possible, find a way to keep doing what you enjoy. It may not be to the same level as when you're younger, but find a way to keep that part of you active and alive. A lot folks say that if you can find a job where you get paid to do your favorite activity or hobby, jump on it. I agree partly, but if that job starts to suck the fun out of what you once loved to do, do your best to get the heck out of that job. Do what's fun because it's fun. It may be playing games, it may be making mods for games or other applications, it might be graphic design... It could be whatever (say, skateboarding). Whatever it is, keep a part of you in that scene. Keep your youth throughout all your life. Look around. A lot of people you know have given it up. That's a shame. Don't let that happen to you. Thanks for reading. --- Post updated --- I wish someone would invent the opposite: a rewind remote. I have a few companies I'd like to go back and invest in... ;-) --- Post updated --- I have a patreon account that I use and have three patrons so far! They are fantastic supporters. I also support a couple folks through it. Bob is definitely one of them. his stuff is awesome and he and I chat a lot personally. I don't have a lot to offer in my Patreon, though. I can't do "sneak peek" at upcoming videos. I publish them as soon as I edit them because I don't have time to make videos ahead of time between work and my stupidly slow internet (drawback to rural living in America - no choice of internet provider). So, I definitely appreciate my patrons. All I can offer is putting their names in videos and in the description of each vid. But, as one of mine said to me, "Dude, it's five bucks a month. That's less than one lunch. I enjoy your videos and I'll never miss that five bucks." So, ya never know. Go for it!
