Paint destruction model

    Something I'd love to see in the game to really tie together the feel of the destruction would be a paint destruction model, where when you take scraping damage paint would be torn off the car and shavings would be pulled off and be visibly thrown from the vehicle along with the sparks.

    We also need this


    A system that doesn't just deform the car but breaks it into pieces. We would need pieces much smaller than that but that is a start ^

    i remember something like that in Burnout Paradise and it looked excellent, great idea

    That's very cool! The devs might have to tone down how crumbly and fragile it is (for optimization/realism purposes), but it would be a big leap in the right direction for the game.

    that would take years of work or even it wouldn't get released because that one video is made with blender and the game is made with cryengine 3 or whatever version is that
