We know the next update will have updates to the Gavril engines as was mentioned, and it's a safe bet the H-Series will get big updates too. After that it'll probably be remasters to any of the older cars that need attention. The Bolide certainly needs one someday, but we have no idea when it'll be.

hmm, if they implement most of the new content for the H series in the next update, I wonder if they might make the bolide's revamp coincide with the wendover's release, for a sort of 80's themed update...

I wonder if they're going to be doing it on a manufacturer by manufacturer basis.
e.g. Gavril-Bruckell-Civetta (go go me bolide update)

Probably by order of what needs the most attention. We got all the Gavril updates because those were the fake body on frame cars, thus highest priority.

and similarly, the bolide's weird body-on-frame-but-not is also innacurate, so I suspect some reworking will be needed there too. people seem to only focus on the model/texture quality, and while that is part of it, the chassis structure needs to also be reasonable.

I also hope they eventually split the pigeon's body into more parts (removable headlights and properly modeled housings, removable seats, dashboard under a slot, rad support as a separate part, etc.)
and while i'm at it, it annoys me that the covet's fascia is still only one piece.

This is something that’s probably been mentioned before, but this is from the Steam page’s early access info page. It would seem that career mode is going to take a discipline approach that was talked about in the gameplay thread.

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We hope to make the full version into a fully-fledged open-world vehicle simulator, with a career mode involving various vehicular disciplines and event types, and other gameplay modes.”

I wonder if the devs are planning something big for 0.20, because it's kind of a milestone in the game's history. Career mode perhaps?

The main big thing for 0.10 was the groundwork for the audio system, which was a huge thing indeed, but so was 0.19 which added the vivace, vehicle updates, small island, etc.. Lots of things.
Not sure about career mode in 0.20 but it'll be a big thing regardless

That's so old now, I'd be surprised if their plans and ambitions haven't changed. I think that line of text is from 2015 when it first came out on steam.

Changing topics, I think we could use the Grand Marshal/Roamer/D/H Series remaster as a set of blueprints to the Bolide Remaster. The recently remastered cars all got work on their suspensions, engines, bodies and frames. We can probably expect similar for the Bolide. Reworked suspension mesh and geometry, enhanced engine models, new cosmetic parts, more configs, and a rework of the frame/unibody to be up to modern Beamng Vehicle standards. We could get a facelifted Bolide just like the D series, could get a new bodystyle Bolie with something like a T-Top like the D series got the Bronco treatment. One thing I don't expect to see are many updates to the interior, since the recent remasters had their interiors remain largely untouched, although I think some could have really used some interior work. It would be nice to get more removable parts like fenders and inner fenders like the D series/Roamer. I really like how the entire front clip can come apart on those cars and would like to see something similar for the Bolide.

Again though, the H/D/R/GM were fake body-on-frame cars, so I’m not sure how that plan would translate to the Bolide. That being said, the current quasi-body-on-frame setup is pretty janky and I wouldn’t be surprised if it changes to a monocoque or space frame.

the D series did get support for race seats in its content update,
and while none of the D/Roamer/GM got more interior colours, they already all had multiple choices, whereas the bolide (and by extension the H series) only currently has one interior colour, so it's possible we might see a tan/red interior option.

sigh, I feel that we need more GTz Ibishus, we only have 2, and also there is okudai parts for the covet, but they are only used on non-factory versions

To be honest, an updated Ibishu Miramar would be great. Maybe even a new generation. A Covet and 200BX GTz model would be good, too.
Also, is Okudai is for the Ibishu like how Spoon is for Honda? If so, I would agree to more race variants with Okudai paint schemes and specs.

Don't we have a 200bx GTz? I know it's a mod, but I don't think that the devs need to focus on it really. I even made an ad for it:

    From Here

Looks like the bias-ply tires might be getting better textures? (they look more rounded too?)
The ones there clearly have a hard edge where the sidewall meets the tread, as opposed to the ones currently in-game which look like radials.
