WIP Miraimar (2020 Miramar)

That's the point of the circular wing mirrors; this is supposed to be a throwback/homage concept car that pays respect to a classic design language while looking futuristic.

 

Looks nice. To me it looks like the Rivian R1T if it was a miramar

 

Those will be reworked

i know the poll was months ago, but who the hell voted ICE? stuff like this is literally the first thing you think of when you hear about modern electric car concepts lol.

anyways, i really hope you finish this. it looks awesome

Electric motors are fun, but having no gears to shift is so dull for me. In addition, sounds and weight. I'm a die-hard ICE+manual fan.
I think a modern chassis would be good, but for a retro-styled performance car, I'd say ICE+6spd is a good throw back to simpler times. If it was just a future car, I'd be more enthusiastic about electric.

 

you know what, I actually kinda agree. especially considering the IDx vibes coming from this, but an electric version would be cool.

 

I would have like the option for both. I am fairly sure you can make a EV chassis work for ICE with braces etc. I do quite like it as a IDx or even the e-Legend but in beam Lore

 

Personally I think it should be rounder or something, to make it look less like a muscle car

 

Exactly, I think there could easily be an electric variant, just like the eSBR. Have a battery pack in the transmission/driveline tunnel, that way there isn't any need fora completely separate chassis.

Would be amazing! The model will have to be greatly improved so that a really good looking render can be made though hahah. But that is the plan exactly, to redo the whole exterior and improve a lot the details

 

those are renders ive done with blender. Think of it as computer graphics. Not sure if your comment was sarcastic but if it is, make it sound sarcastic! haha.

Bit off topic, but I wish BeamNG.drive had ingame filters, exposure control, motion blur, focus, etc. One can only edit a photo so much after it's been taken.

 

i wish beams graphics were better. The new engine (of the current one) has better options etc but they cant upgrade due to code limitations? something like that. i know nothing about code and that crap. i just know there is a better engine then the current one but due to some limitations they cant upgrade right now.

 

Eh. My pc can barely run it as it is.
