Recently i casually browsed Metacritic, when i had the idea to look at critics for beamng.drive, long story short, there was a page fpr Beamng on Ios (https://www.metacritic.com/game/ios/beamngdrive), same name same logo same everything, but no reviews. One minute googeling later, foundthis video on Youtube ( ) from a guy that promised to show how to get beamng on android and Ios. If any of the Devs read this, please look into these links angain, so no one would fall into these scams
There was a janky IOS bootleg, but thankfully the devs made a copyright claim against it on the App Store, so at least it got taken down. A lot of the time it’s simply not worth the time to try to run after all of the knockoffs, so they pop up on occasion. Most of the time, the community finds one, points them out, and sometimes the devs do something, sometimes they don’t. Some platforms make it a pain to get them removed, and the effort is usually wasted. The cycle ends up being a game of legal whack-a-mole, and the devs don’t have a flotilla of attourneys to throw around. I made a thread about this a while back, but it got deleted for more or less good reason. Just don’t give the bootlegs attention or download them, and you’re doing plenty. You’re part of the target audience, and by shrinking it, you’re definitely hurting their sales.
For anyones sanity. please dont check his channel... It also kinda looks as if the channel has been hijacked. Just report and move on. Scam videos like these are always gonna exist. Report to youtube, i also usually report the entire channel if theres too many videos like these but damn....
I mean there is a beamng companion app that the meta critic page might be for but there isn’t a playable game on mobile regardless of iOS or Android or whatever. https://apps.apple.com/au/app/beamng-drive-remote-control/id1163096150
I have seen this so often. It's also under the Minecraft Demo. They're mad about the Time-Limit after which your map is unplayable.
I lost a lot of the few braincells I have trying to fathom the fact that people would think this is real. It's actually kinda sad.
Maybe in another 20 years phone will be powerful enough... For now, streaming to a phone is the only chance for that.
phones are very different from pcs no current actual phone could really handle pc games from the modern era
BeamNG is only for windows for now, though you can play it on linux with Proton. I doubt that it'll ever be natively ported to any other os.
Even if it was possible, the sheer price would turn away people who can't afford PCs. It's just stupid and unrealistic. --- Post updated --- Honestly I think it's best that Beam stays on PC for a whole slew of reasons.
