RAM or GPU? Which has to be invested more in?

Yeah I would generally agree, like I see used gtx 1070's going for still about 200 bucks or more. And I live in the States where prices are typically pretty decent.

 

Here in Canada, the 1650 is still 270 Canadian rupees

 

I think here in the states they’re like $150 used.

Wait, $150 on the GPU, that leaves you with $200 for the ram, so the 1650 plus some notice Corsair ram would be good.

 

I am planning to get second hand gpu's. That would ease the cost for me i guess.

Oh really? Still not as saturated as the PUBG, Fortnite, or minecraft video market i guess. There are like only 10 channels that are doing good. After all thats what i would like doing.

First, what resolution and bit rate you most use when you edit video? It's important when you decide your ram size. Most 1080p 60fps video need 6~12G ram at least in my experience.

Second, because Nvidia's new GPU is coming soon, i recommand you to wait until they come out. The price of second hand "RTX2060" should be lower than your budge a lot. If not, consider GTX1660.

 

I am ok with 720p. Because the audience are mostly kids who watch the videos on their phone and 720p is enough. Also less RAM would be required for that i think.

 

Save up, you're not going to get much of a gaming PC for 350 dollars in total.
The more patience you have, the more you will save up and the longer you have for better deals to come.
I bought a used 1060 for 110 dollars.

Going with Turing or Polaris in 2020 is beyond retarded, in about three months from now on RDNA2 and Ampere will release.
