Wait, I'm not on the forums that much SPECIFICALLY because of these intolerable kids. Thank you for getting them banned @Grind86 and @Vinh, You're doing us all a favor.
Earlier you were saying that you were hunting down the Discord punks, right? That's good enough for me.
Idk, earlier in the messages he was talking about discord users or something, so I just assumed something was going wrong there. I have an IQ of potato though so I could be misinterpreting something.
Oh yeah, I remember. There's punks on there calling my friend a simp just because he's "defending" me and they're using the n-word. I wanna call them out, so that's what Discord has do with this, I think.
Taking it here to not get off topic in the automotive thread. To be fair, it's gotta be complicated being a US cop for a lot of reasons before everything happened... On the other hand, I've had good experiences with police in NC but never in my life have I had a good experience with the NYPD, and I've lived in NY for 21 years now... After the crash I had today, I got halfway through explaining what happened and he starts saying "I don't believe you" and "that car you claim was in the middle of the road isn't here so obviously it never existed" and some other stuff I won't repeat... Never wanted to see my dash cam, even though it proves that car I "made up" was real, and exactly where I said it was. As for my other experiences with NYPD... Every single city cop I've ever experienced is either super lazy (like, straight up ignore reports of crime and shush off the person reporting it lazy), or on the biggest power trip I've ever seen... My favorite story was when I asked a cop in Atlantic terminal about something suspicious I saw, and he responded with a good 2mn of ranting about how kids today are so disrespectful... All I said at this point was "Excuse me, officer", but he expects nothing less than "Hello Mr. Officer"... My experience with suburb cops haven't been much better. One time someone was breaking into my neighbors house under the pretense of "We work with the bank, it's a forecloser". Incredibly sketchy looking group in an even sketchier truck. They show one single officer some obviously forged paperwork and every single cop leaves... So we called the bank that the neighbors mortgage was with, they called the cops, who then said "It's too late to do anything, no one recorded the license plate of those guys"... I could go on, but this is a healthy paragraph already. Like I mentioned earlier, my experience with out of state cops is usually fair. I've had a run in with cops in Carolina Beach NC and they were very professional and thorough, 10/10 to them.
Well, that's cool. Don't even get me started on these protests and the cops hurting an old man and a black guy.
I don't think you'll be one of them. I don't remember the circumstances but the people who got banned were being obnoxious and unfriendly, more like the people you're going after. Frankly, I don't think I could ever be a cop. I hate speed limits, my attitude toward post-purchase safety and emissions regs is basically "the right to keep and bear Stage 3 junk on the street shall not be infringed", and besides, I really hate being That Guy who badgers people over minor "offenses", even when it's technically justifiable.
Personally I could probably be a cop if I wanted to, but I don’t want to be in a situation like this where I’m hated for someone else's mistake. No thanks.
