Hello, i just installed BeamNG and wanted to try it.

I have a big issue. It only runs on my intel integrated GPU.
And when i say run, it's totally unusable ... like a few fps ...

I'm on a desktop PC with a Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060.

At start it always tells me to select another GPU but i just can't,
The only listed is "Pnp Generic #5" which looks to be my integrated GPU.

I tried to make the right monitor the "master" for WIndows and now BeamNG is stuck on 25% CPU
with nothing appearing like it's loading but nothin happens.

Getting back to my previous configuration and the BeamNG starts correctly.

I clicked on "Acknowledge" on the very first menus i had. Maybe i did something wrong ?
But i can't get back this menu which looks like a first start menu which appears only once.

    Can somebody help me ?
    Thanks.

I recommend turning off the integrated graphics completely, unless you really need it for more monitors. Did you also try "Windows Key + Shift + Left/Right Arrow Key" ? It switches your windows to different monitors

Hello and thanks for the reply.

In fact i can switch to the right monitor, but it looks like it still uses the integrated GPU.
More like my Graphic card was "bypassed" ...

I can't disabled the integrated GPU cause i use two screens on normal use, also displaying things on a TV monitor.

The fact that my GPU is not listed is not good i think. I even tried to start BeamNG in Administrator
to see if this is due to some access denied which looks like something like that.

I have other games and never had this problem.

Maybe that's just the game that needs very high ends specs ?
    i5 4430 / Geforce GTX 1060 / 32 GB DDR3 ... Is it enough ?

    Thanks.

Your hardware is fine. What about a GPU driver update though?

Is your monitor connected to the GTX 1060 video ports, or the motherboard video port?

Hello, maybe at one point i will try to update drivers, but when everything is smooth on other games, i try to avoid that.
On old graphics card, you take a risk of bad performances ... new drivers are not always the better ones.
My previous Radeon (R9 280) i had 1 month ago was on 2017 drivers and worked better than the very new ones "significantly".

The monitor i used to play on is on a DVI port of the GTX 1060. Maybe at some point i will try to connect one of the display ports to see if it solves the problem.
I also have a DVI port on the integrated GPU but not used. My other screen is on a HDMI output of the integrated GPU.

    Thanks.
