Do you really think you're going to get optimal speed NOW ? Everybody is downloading it right now. My connection has the potential to download at over 3 megabytes a second, but I'm only downloading the update at 180 kilobytes a second. I don't care though. I understand.

Mike, the download service is torrent based, meaning that the more people download it, the faster it gets, which is why it's a little strange

 

After the updater crashed im getting about 35kb per second

 

Mine's saying 25 odd minutes now.

Not really, the more people who already have a copy of it the faster it goes, if everyone is hitting it at once its just as good as a normal download server.

So once you have downloaded up to the same stage as everyone else it will go as fast as the people seeding it (aka dev team)

wut? I replace with the new updater, run it, checking files, and it says 100% downloaded no update... wth?
