I'm thinking it might be more interesting at busier intersections, if 4-way traffic light cycling-- with left-turn green arrows-- were added into the mix. I might be misspeaking and mean 8-way, but something like this: 1. Eastbound & Westbound Straight Traffic 2. E/b to N/b left turners & W/b to S/b left turners 3. Northbound & Southbound Straight Traffic 4. N/b to W/b left turners & S/b to E/b left turners Or mix it up and in intersections where on-coming left turners would otherwise hit each other... Straight traffic and left turners from the same side of the intersection go simultaneously, while oncoming straight and left turners both get the red at the same time; and wait their turn until they too go at the same time. Then same for both sides of the cross traffic directions. Not sure how complex that would be to add to the mix, but just a thought.
Well and that’s a cool idea as well. Implementing our ideas may not be of high priority now, but could always be considered in the future.
Yes! Whenever I drive (take a road trip), I always stop at the lights. This may be because I like traffic lights.
That bugs me. I use BeamNG to do drivers ed with people, and when you are the only person, well, it's not great... they blow the red lights. I want to see some bad driver ai and some decent driver ai - make crashes between them feel naturaler.
