Thank you! I've been doing 3d for a bit under 3 years. Im definitely going to continue out of high school, I have alot of time to practice until I need to step up and actually deal with adulting haha. I did have a project a long long time ago, ended up stopping the project due to a crash in my mental health. I was just starting to continue modding again but today I had some issues in my PC, shut it off and I proceeded to enter a BSOD loop, can't boot up and can't boot from another drive. Hopefully my data is safe as I haven't backed up my sick custom hood but if I lose it, I'll just have to re do it. Im going to try updating the bios in a couple days when school is out.
been awhile since ive done a car, back at it again with my new mercedes 350 clk. Everything is modeled and rendered by me
Spent about an hour doing this piece. I'll post a full render later tonight. It'll be for a photo gallery I'm making.
I got home pretty late last night so I let this render overnight. It didn't take much longer than an hour. I deliberately made it super widescreen; it looks best on a 1080 screen but also perfectly fits the width of a 4K screen. I also added in a colorful backdrop so that it would look a little less boring. The actual image I want to use will have no backdrop, because I'll overlay the trophy atop some other trophies in a sort-of collage.
I know BeamNG had already recently replaced their YouTube video splash screen (which I will refer to simply as the "Slash" screen) but I decided to make an end-splash screen of my own - partly out of boredom, to be honest. This is a still of the end result, but it's actually animated in Blender and I'll post that whenever it's finished rendering.
I felt like I had to make some tweaks in some spots so it'll be a little longer before the final product is ready to be presented. In the meantime, have another still-frame peek.
hello all. I just finished modeling my latest project, the porsche gt3 rs. more renders will be coming, but for now, this is what I have. All is fully modeled in blender by me and is rendered in cycles. it consists of 2 million polys with a fully detailed interior and exterior
ah not yet, I havnt really spent that much time rendering this puppy, I am having someone render it for me in vray in 3ds max and I am waiting to see what he does with it. heres a matcap picture of it though sorry about that, I thought I was in another thread
I got pretty ill last night so I couldn't get this finalized until this morning. It's been rendered with a 1.85:1 aspect ratio in mind, also known as "academy" cinematic widescreen, so it just has to be resized slightly to fit the more commonly used 1.77:1 (16:9) ratio that BeamNG's channel tends to use. I also envision a gradient wipe effect for when the orange ball comes into view, "overtaking" the video as the logo appears on the screen.
Jus some renders of my Nissan ps13 with a Spirit Rei body kit ive been working on. don't mind the second photo, I am waiting for my pc to spit out other renders in the same scene as the first photo and then ill be back working on the 2nd scene. if anyone wants the models, they will be on my gumroad in about a week. (this one will cost $ due to the amount of time spent on things such as reflections and correct topology. there will be low poly versions as well )
