1956 - 1957 Burnside Executive (Based off the 1956 Lincoln Continental and the 1957 Ford Thunderbird)

    "Simply luxurious"

The Burnside Executive is a coupe made for those who want luxury and performance to show off to the other nuclear families in Suburbia. If you had a Executive back in the 50s, everyone assumed you were either a CEO or a Government official, which made car thieves and vandals think twice about messing with your 5,000 pound beauty.

    Trims:

Malice: The Malice is a Executive GT hardtop with a lot of history behind it's high mileage and derelict appearance. What was once a crime boss' favorite car became his metal coffin in the early 60s after a drive-by from a rival family. After that, this black beauty was never the same. It's various owners reported strange things about the car after purchasing it, such as the radio trying to tune itself, headlights turning on and off, and the horn going off in the dead of night, however most of those instances were caused by mechanical faults, not paranormal instances as many people think. Covered in a faded paint job, dust, and body filler, this Executive GT has been the inspiration for a few horror movies over the past few decades. Would you like to find out why first hand?

V8: The Executive V8 is powered by a 285hp 6.0L V8 coupled to a 3 speed automatic transmission. It comes with Leather seats, A/C, a Heater, a AM Radio, and power windows as standard.

GT: The Executive GT is a V8 that's been given a bit of a tune up, along with a few new options. It comes with a 300hp 6.0L V8 coupled to a 3 speed automatic transmission, a choice of a landau or convertible top, GT badges, a chrome hood ornament, a 8 track tape player, and even 4 wheel disc brakes if you could afford them.

Hot Rod: This is the car you Grandpa dreamed of ever since he was a little kid. The Hot Rod is a modified Executive V8 that's been given a make over by a gang of teens that like leather jackets, switchblades, and hair gel. It's been given a 375hp 6.0L V8 coupled to a 4 speed manual transmission, flame decals, a cowl hood, sport suspension, and sport tires.

Warrior: The Warrior is a Executive GT convertible designed for circuit racing. It is powered by a 340hp 5.1L V8 coupled to a 4 speed manual transmission and has been given integrated bumpers, racing bucket seats, quick ratio steering, racing tires, suspension, and brakes, and a "Burnside Warrior" livery.

Drag Star: The Drag Star is a Executive GT that's been modified for drag racing. It is powered by a Supercharged 1,192hp 6.0L V8 coupled to a 4 speed drag racing automatic transmission. It has also been given semi slick tires, a locked rear diff, heavy duty suspension, a wheelie bar, a stripped interior, racing bucket seats, a roll cage, and a "Drag Star" livery.

Exterior and interior: (Based off the V8 model)

But it's based on a Land Cruiser, shouldn't it be like an Ibishu or Hirochi? You know, for continuity?

I was driving the Pessima and then I crashed it. It looks like a Pessima Hatch. If they added Hatchback Pessima, it would be cool

It seems that every time I drive down to San Francisco, my mind consistently wanders to the kinds of vehicles I'd like to see in this game. And since I have to drive down nearly every week, I've had a lot of time to brainstorm. So here's a few more vehicle ideas I've been thinking about the past few weeks:

    - A German city car from the early to mid 2000s. This little runabout won design awards and art museum placements the world over when it first came out. Not that it means much nowadays as some things that were strikingly beautiful in the early 2000s, are now horrendously ugly in the early 2020s. This car, however, is more than just it's design. This car is the essence of the early to mid 2000s distilled down into a tiny 700cc package. From that distillation, you get variants like the one that has no roof or doors, the one that came out of a partnership with a trendy tech company to promote their brand-new MP3 player, and the one co-developed with a high-performance tuning house that added a retuned engine and performance parts...to a city car. There's also the JDM kei car variant that nobody in Japan bought, and the weird looking elongated 5-door hatchback variant...that nobody in Europe bought. And how could we forget the weirdest variant of them all, the one converted into a monster truck by the manufacturer? Mid 2000s Germany, everybody.

    - A South Korean fullsize sedan from the late 2000s/early 2010s. The 2008 financial crisis was momentous for many reasons, and one of those reasons was that it actually made Korean cars desirable for once. Nothing like losing all your money and having to only buy a brand-new luxury Korean car instead of that ETK or high-end Ibishu you were thinking of prior. However, the thing was that...the cars were actually good! Not only did you get a bargain on a luxury fullsize sedan, you also got a car that could outperform that Ibishu and outlast that ETK. Money well spent, I'd say.

    - A Japanese cabover medium-duty truck from the early 2010s. Previously, I suggested an American medium-duty truck from the same time period, but I think something like this would add more diversity to the vehicle selection. A true world vehicle, this truck is sold in markets from Afghanistan to Zimbabwe, under different manufacturers from different countries with limitless possibilities for upfits. A fire truck from South Africa? Why not? A tricked-out freight truck from Thailand? Of course! A motorhome from Australia? Definitely! JDM, USDM, UKDM variants? You want it, we got it.

    - An Australian sports saloon from the mid 2010s. Part muscle car, part fullsize commuter, this monster from The Land Down Under is certainly a force to be reckoned with. In some cases, literally so, as it was converted to LHD and exported to the United States where it was solely used as a patrol vehicle for police forces that wanted to replace their aging Grand Marshal Police Interceptor fleets but didn't want to give up RWD. Obviously, a 2 door coupe and ute variant built on the same platform is a given, as well as a wagon body. A sort of last hurrah by this Australian automaker, they truly went out with a bang and not a whimper. Except that's not the case here, since the next generation was just a rebadged 2018 Bruckell LeGran, which Bruckell then pulled the plug on in all markets except China for the 2021 model year. What a shame.

    - An American minivan/midsize van from the mid 1990s. Yeah, I know what you're thinking. Hasn't this idea been suggested for the umpteenth time? Minivan this, minivan that, there's even a minivan poll on the top of this very thread. The devs must be sick of all this buggering over a minivan! And to that, I say: give the people what they want. But don't do it in the way that seems obvious. No, spice things up a bit. Give that minivan a high roof, short nose, and boxy, angular design. Have it use truck parts to keep costs down and performance up. Make it the ideal van for both families and businesses. Bonus points if you can somehow make it front-mid-engined.
(And yes, my idea of spicy design language is the Ford Aerostar and Chevy Astro.)
