Hello all, this was a small project of mine that I wanted to pursue, it started like this. April 2020, I was doing a daily once over of THE INTERNET when I started wondering, why don't people try to remaster Russian mods? I mean, there are reasons. For instance, a lot of the models come from other games or are stolen, but don't have credit, and so couldn't be reposted anyway. Although, I decided to put aside these issues and remaster (or try to) an old VAZ 2108 mod from worldofmods. I plan to have: At least 3 configs Fully re-worked Jbeam (HELP NEEDED) Some custom parts A few fixes including the door which doesn't load correctly. Pics: Credits: Anton Fedorov, Adam Gunchokov, (for the original mod) IF YOU HAVE THE NECESSARY SKILLS, THEN PLEASE CONSIDER HELPING, THIS IS ONE OF MY FIRST NON-AUTOMATION MODS. And if u want a .zip, you can PM me or just pressure me in the discussion. (I DON'T WANT THAT SECOND ONE )
So do you have the perms to revive it? And do you have the perms for the model and other assets used?
I did some research on the internet, and the mod that you are reworking was originally created by someone named Anton Fedorov, and ported over to BeamNG by Adam Gunchokov. At least, that was what World of Mods listed. (The JBeam structure was taken from the Ibishu Covet by the way, which is why the third-party website also attributed gabester as the "co-author".) Compare the website's images to yours and they are pretty much identical in terms of the mesh and textures: Front: Rear: Interior: Now that I mentioned the people responsible for making the original mod, please provide proper credits in the main post, even if you are merely reworking these so-called "Russian" mods.

Hey... The original mod wasn't from Worldofmods.. Worldofmods just steals stuff from other sites, and is always the last site mods get uploaded to. They were originally posted modsgaming.ru ages ago, later reuploaded onto worldofmods iirc If you wish to contact Adam Gunchokov, this is his VK, however it is likely he is now inactive. https://vk.com/adam01rus01
In that case, you can create models from scratch or find ones that you can get permission/license for, please don't just take someone's work like this.
Just a quick update on progress: I have appesh1 helping with skins and some custom things but he has contacted me to say that progress on the mod has been slow for reasons he didn't specify, so please be prepared for a long-ish wait for the first release. Don't get angry, it is neither his or my fault, so yeah.
