Tantalizingly close right now, I can almost imagine the Pigeon hilarity now... EDIT Now Seeding, enjoy 40-50 Kb/s more!
5 1/2 hours downloading and at 57%. At this rate it will be another nine months until my next update.
I went to sleep for 5 hours, the download had an error when it finished, it downloads from only 30 to 85 KB/s (Even slower) now.
How about be patient and release that this isn't Steam, a million dollar company, it's four guys trying to cater to a bunch of complainers
If it takes another month to update, I really wouldn't care. I spend very little time gaming these days. However, the way the updates (or lack thereof) played out over the last 9 months or so and these seemingly poor planning over the logistics of the update release, it seems a bit cracker-jack to me. I know, it's only 4 guys. Again, no question about thier talents or work ethics.. But once your game is pay to play, you open yourself to criticism. And a lot of the criticism over the past few months regarding the updates, and now the download speeds, is valid criticism.
lol, I restarted my updater as some said it would go faster. Went from 120kb/s to 4kb/s. God, I haven't seen these speeds since like...2000. The worst part is I got bored today and decided to re-download the Stanley Parable, I was getting 10Mb/s on that.
It means you have finished downloading all the files and are now serving data to the rest of us. You can play the game now...
With ATT Uverse I had to open this on my firewall. speeds went from around 20KB/s to averaging 150KB/s now. just make sure you close it when done.
