Anyone else getting the updater fatal error?

"The updater is currently not able to update the software..."

I think i'm done bothering for the day.

 

Anyone else finding this update has negatively effected framerate? :/

 

It suddenly picked up. 10KBps!

 

Anyone's download reset back to 0%? its done it twice now at different speeds and downloads %.

I did what ds said, and I had the update in a couple of minutes.

91%... but it's been like that for hours.

I've been clicking the updater all day and all I ever get is that stupid error. I'm getting tired of clicking it every minute, but maybe one of these times I'll actually get somewhere. >.>

The worst part is I'm just trying to get the executable. 0.o

I feel highly offended now on the internet knowing that some people have to say that so they don't get insulted with that word /=

I've been hearing that on the internet being thrown around and misused more and more latly it's a rather large word that has a LONNNG meaning.

 

Stuck on 14%. I'll try downloading sam's zip thingy.

Also, I had to wait 3 hours to download 3MB. So yeah. That was for the EXE's.

 

I've got the update to finish, mine actually went pretty quick. I started it around 7:40 and now its 8:03, but when I try to start it, it says that "this version of this program is not compatible with this version of windows"

I have Windows 7 X64, What am I supposed to have for it? It worked fine with the old version.

 

I feel bad because it took around 4 hours to download and I had no problems playing it..



I haven't really noticed any performance improvements which is disappointing..

So uhh... Was playing just fine for 10 minutes before work 6 hours ago and now I clicked on the BeamNG.Drive button and it brought me back to the old version.

 

Finally I can seed for you poor souls out there, while I play the Update

 

I think the updater doesn't do anything with the old version, so it's still there. Go to the main directory and open alpha_stable and find the main executable. Create shortcut, profit

 

Because the shortcut on your desktop links to the old location of the game. Create a new shortcut of the new version.

 

What's really starting to grind my gears is when the updater actually starts downloading, it just downloads the updater again and tries to download metadata again, causing me to get the error again. I found out if you just keep clicking on the updater, opening about 20 instances, you'll finally get one that starts downloading, but I haven't gotten farther than downloading the updater again to update the game, which doesn't work because of an error. Frustrating!
