Hi, im going to build a gaming PC and I want to know if it will run BeamNG. Here are the specs of it.
    CPU: Intel Core i5-10600K 6-Core 4.1 GHz
    Motherboard: MSI MPG Z490
    RAM: 16GB
    GPU: Gigabyte GTX 1660 Super
Storage: WD Blue 2TB Internal SSD.
Also, will the moniter I use affect the performance?

UPDATE: Got a different GPU and downgraded from 32GB to 16GB of RAM because 16 is enough for me.

I DON'T know a lot about computer specs but from what I know it should run smooth
(but please wait for the help/tips from somebody who really know about that stuff)

Your monitor can't affect your performances (except if you activate V-Sync, in this case the game will run at the max framerate your monitor can display)

32 GB of RAM is way enough,

A i5-10600k (I can't really give a lot of details about this, I don't know much in CPU), but if i'm right the number of the cars/props you can spawn theoretically depend on the number of threads your CPU have, so 12 in this case (that's what I have seen, BUT it really sounds like a lot from a i5, so please don't take it too seriously from me)

    And also from the GPU
a GTX 1660 I know is good and capable, but can't give much details neither

That's quite a mental computer, the only potential bottleneck is the CPU, it seems to not be a "game-optimized" CPU but I could be wrong.

I anything I would think the bottleneck is the GPU. That CPU has great single core performance and can trade blows with it's more expensive counterparts in some games.

Why are you buying intel first of all. BeamNG would work much better with a ryzen 7 and its cheaper.

Besides that itll run basically everything on high.

I have an i5 on my laptop as well and haven't seen lower that 30fps with almost every graphics setting maxed.

Hello, sorry for this little bump but I don't know where to ask this so... ^^"

BeamNG.drive is as of now my principal PC game and the one which will define my config in term of compatibility, but I have heavier games, that's why it may sound like a big config for BeamNG (because others games seems less demanding about which parts to choose)

I'm looking for a new laptop to run this game but I would need some help on the components:

    -For the GPU
: It can be a 1660 ti / RX 5600M / (and maybe 2060 if I find a correct price), I may go for a Nvidia GPU anyway, (but feel free to give me some help here)

The REAL question is: Which CPU ? : a i7-9750h (109750h maybe, but seem still too expensive for now) OR a Ryzen 7 4800h
The 4800h seems more powerful than the i7 9750h in general but is it also better on BeamNG ?

    i7-9750h: 2.6 GHz / 6 cores / 12 threads
    4800h: 2.9 GHz / 8 cores / 16 threads
-I've seen some people having compatibility issues about AMD stuff with this game on the forum, that's why I'm a bit scared about AMD for this game

-Also is there a difference in performances between Intel or AMD with a Nvidia GPU ?

Well, it depends on what you do. Do you video edit along with playing BeamNG? Intel is the best bet. If you just play games, then AMD is the ebst bet

Go for ryzen 4000 on a laptop, but a desktop is always better

Someone: Can my PC run the game?
Everyone: Is Intel or AMD better?

Short answer: on a budget, AMD is a must have, buying a lower end i5 or even i3 for budget system is just a waste of money
For an application like BeamNG, more cores matter, so AMD, even the higher end Threadripper chips will outperform any Intel CPU in terms of vehicle count.

For desktop use, its your call whether you need to do heavy workloads that use alot of CPU or just browse the web and occasionally game on it. Every CPU has its pros and cons, but AMD just smells a bit nicer for games like Beam.

dude, my pc that have i3, 8gb Ram, 500gb storage its a laptop and it has 120mb VRAM , still can run it with 30fps on gridmap (and 45 on the empty map) so im sure you can run it with atleast 60 fps

I know you're pc will run like a beast because my CPU is 10 years old and your GPU is slightly more powerful :)
