    Hello!

I am back at it with another weird project I've been working on for practice in Excel. This thing allows you to configure your vehicles however you like and know how much it is worth in parts. Currently, I have the following vehicles complete:

    *Autobello

    *Barstow

    *Bluebuck

    *Burnside

    *Citybus (Wentward)

    *Coupe (200BX)

    *ETK800

    *ETKC (K-Series)

    *ETKI (I-Series)

    *Fullsize (Grand Marshal)

    *Hatch (Covet)

    *Hopper

    *LeGran

    *Midsize ('96 Pessima)

    *Miramar

    *Moonhawk

    *Pessima

    *Pickup (D-Series)

    *Pigeon

    *Roamer

    *SBR

    *Sunburst

    *Super (Bolide)

    *Van (H-Series)

    *Vivace

Currently, I only have major parts (everything from paintjobs to suspensions to engines to body pieces) complete. I do not have nitrous, steering wheels, navigation, or other bits and bobs from the common folder in this workbook.

Honestly, the biggest issue for me has been how to handle the universal wheels. With hundreds of rims and tires in the game, split over dozens of sizes and four different lug types, I'm not sure how to handle them. My current solution (have a bunch of PivotTables in each worksheet linked to a small SUM area at the bottom of the main parts list of each vehicle) is both tedious to use and doubles the file size. If anyone has any suggestions on how to handle the wheels better, please let me know.

Also, if you're wondering why I haven't gotten the Coupe (200BX), Roamer, Burnside and trailers complete:

*The 200BX wasn't really my first priority - I wanted to get other vehicles out of the way first. Now that I've completed the Pessima, it'll be the one I make after I complete the Roamer.

*Likewise with the Roamer, I wanted to get the D-Series out of the way first (the pickup shares a lot of parts with the Roamer, so it makes sense to do the pickup first).

*I didn't think that many people would be interested in knowing about the Burnside or trailers, so I've left those for last until I figure things out with the other vehicles. I wanted those to be pulled off the best that I could.

You do not need to unzip this file before using it. You will need to unzip it if you want to edit and save your work.

Shouldn't the old paint lower a car's value compared to the normal paintjob?

Perhaps, but I'm not sure by exactly how much the old paint should reduce each car's value. For now, I'm going to leave it at zero, but as many people seem to want rusty cars to be less expensive, I'll probably have the old paint reduce the value of the vehicle by $500.

I suggest looking up similar parts' prices in good condition on eBay.

And the worn paint is probably losing as much as the cost of a respray. So about $2k and up, depending on the size.

    You're welcome.

I've already compiled all the population and vehicle parts cost data into two separate files. You can download them here.

    Updates:

    *Added Coupe, Burnside, and Roamer

*Added configuration selector that works like this:

*Still have no idea what to do with the wheels, though.

    Added:

    *Beam Vehicle Populations
list, where you can see all the vehicle populations for each configuration. Just a quick example of what it looks like:

Every vehicle is represented - except for the FCV.

Pretty darn impressive! And as someone who loves spreadsheets myself... I highly approve.

You also include pie charts and color gradations for increasing/decreasing values. Yup... isn't playing with Excel fun? I've made more than my fair share of lists/charts revolving around BeamNG.
