It seems with mine the fps has stayed the same or even gone down slightly. I'd like to hear other people's experiences with performance after the update.
Re: Has you fps changed with the update? I'm still downloading the update... ;_; (imported from here)
Re: Has you fps changed with the update? my FPS stayed the same for the most part but it seemed to be better than usual in a larger resolution.
Re: Has you fps changed with the update? Flatmap with the D-15 went from ~60fps to ~73fps. Most others stayed roughly the same, some up and some down. Nothing more than a 3-5fps difference any where.
Re: Has you fps changed with the update? Stayed roughly the same with one vehicle, but massively improved once you.start dumping vehicles on.
Re: Has you fps changed with the update? Im downloading now, if I understand correctly, they did improve the code quite a bit, but they also increased the simulation rate. Meaning the code allows your computer to run faster, but they increased the amount to do as well. Resulting in a much better simulation and still having better fps. Very awesome.
Re: Has you fps changed with the update? I have much less FPS than before. On Gridmap I had 60 - 70, while now I have 35 - 45. - - - Updated - - - I just tested Pure Grid with exact same settings, and I got 95 FPS on previous version and 99 - 100 on the new version.
Re: Has you fps changed with the update? 50 fps with 3 D15's and 1 Pigeon Impressive 150FPS with 2 D15's 200FPS with 1 D15
Re: Has you fps changed with the update? Generally better. On my new map before the update I was getting a stable 42-45 fps. Before: After the update stable 49-52 fps. After: (Fps top left)
Re: Has you fps changed with the update? I seem to be getting slightly worse fps on a whole. Before the update I was usually getting about 25 fps and now I'm usually getting 12-16. (Yes I have the crappest computer of all time and that probably has something to do with it).
Re: Has you fps changed with the update? You should see improvements across the board for physics and FPS. Small island should have a ~4% decrease with the extensive overhauls it's had. - - - Updated - - - Are you using the same settings? Postfx/options?
Re: Has you fps changed with the update? there are sections of dry rock island that are worse for me. not necessarily worse raw minimum/maximum fps, but the map just stutters a lot more. i turn off postfx just for dry rock.
Yes, it has definetly affected my FPS. My 780 ti used to run the game @ 20 FPS 1 cars, now it is 15. JaimsWallace has the same FPS issue as far as I know.
Generally an increase, I was right on the cusp with low graphics before at 20-25fps, with the Moonhawk being a bit of a hog bringing me down to 18ish. Now am 25-35fps with everything set to normal, and less stutters before collisions, but there are random moments in the game when fps drops down without apparent cause. Draw distance or the rate that detail drops off seems to be a bit worse than before? Athlon x4 635, 4GB, GT430 1gb
How are you getting such poor FPS? I have a GTX 770 and I get 30-40 FPS on Dry Rock Island, running at 2560x1600 (which is double the pixels of 1920x1080)
20 fps???? There is something obviously wrong with your computer, I'm always above 50 fps with full settings and 1080p.
He's been bitching about that issue for ages, but I personally think its something client side screwing him over
I happy with the update, my fps went up because the CPU was bottleneck. I wasn't able to get 70 fps with a freaking GT 520M on gridmap, but now it's possible
