    i know this is off topic, but what are private mods for? some are actually really good and deserve to be posted. i can understand if it is unfinished, they'd only give it to certain people. but i still dont understand the full extent of private mods.

    For me, private mods - is what I enjoy doing for myself and maybe exchange with some people for their private mods. Mostly private mods are a copy of real cars. So they will never appear in the repository. And we have some people who always annoy like did you get permission and other annoying stuff.

    If I would be good in Moddeling and Modding then I would my mods keep Private cause It's my Project, I made it and I don't want to see people have it. If made a Ford Raptor 2019, then I would keep it private. And a other reason why I would keep mods private is cause these shitty 3rd party websites... People think they made the mods, and that's sad af. That's why I would keep mods Private, they may have other reasons too.

    What? No, that's not what I said. I said that while it was unacceptable for somebody to leak this in the first place, I've been enjoying the mod that @zagdima posted. Reuploading is immoral and, as far as I'm concerned, stupid and pointless.
