Hey, some really interesting submissions there Just a quick round-up about some submissions that are not following the contest's rules (can find them on the first post) FilsFilms Over maximum length Advanced edits Submission of old video ByteGuy Advanced edits Submission of old video raomak Over maximum length Kapteeni Karvavarvas Over maximum length Submission of old video Wirayudha Gani Over maximum length @login777, unsure about your submission. Contrasts seems to be pretty high from the original look, was this changed in edit? These are the most obvious ones. The authors can replace their submissions with other that fit within the contests rules if they wish so, there's time until the 27/07 deadline. Otherwise these videos won't be considered for the final evaluations. There are also a few people that posted more than 1 submission in the thread. In that case we might consider only the most recent submission (or only the one that fits the contests rules if one doesn't)
Is overlaying text and the BeamNG logo allowed? Or is that still not basic video editing? I ask because a lot of people have done that and I too would like to do it, but I know I must stay within the rules. Also, is the deadline in German time?
Heres my entry for the contest. Used copy-right free music and basic editing, with the help of some friends. My first time recording and editing anything like this, so go easy on me . But anyway, thanks for watching! Some background: A young kid is practicing donuts a top a parking garage, when out of nowhere, the cops appear! The young hooligan, does the only logical thing of course; he runs! (Do not actually do that IRL, unless ) Enjoy! PS - This was all filmed on 1 replay only, no splicing clips, thought that was pretty interesting lol
Here's a question: can I mix layers in editing? I mean, use different types of combining layers in editing. Because I have an unique idea of cinematic, and it will look more strange(the idea is a bit weird for simple cinematic). So, I will use Developer mode viewmodes(such as Depth, Normal, Specular, etc.) If I will combine them using different layer modes, will it count as an advanced editing?
Ok, so I put little more effort in this video than previous one. I used my own voice overs and that's reason why I put it here and not replace my old one. If this one is approved, I will just replaced it with old one. Hope you liked it.
Ok, but the actual cinematic video it self is 1 minute, well no problem, i will fix it. Btw, what do you think of the video it self? Is it cool?
Its not. you are supposed to use the camera path editor not just press the number on the keyboard that activates that cinematic camera. and then record yourself driving around randomly.
Sure, would be interesting how you mix that with the clips They won't be counted, unless they are replaced with clips that are within the rules before the deadline. I'd count that as more-than-basic editing, so more likely not. There are some margins of tolerance It is, but since it is mostly external camera mode, it will be evaluated accordingly
