That is the message I get when I try to run the updater. How do I fix this? I have downloaded it multiple times.

That happens if the update exe went corrupt during either download or unzipping. Redownload it and unzip it using a reputable unzip tool (namely not the built in windows one or winrar both of which have been known to corrupt files)

Those are both unreputable? What other unzip tools should I use? I use 7Zip most of the time. Is that fine? (Just asking, I don't have this problem.)

I have tried downloading it again and opening it with Extractnow as well as the Windows unzipper. The result is still the same.

7zip is in my opinion the best archiving tool available. No issues with it yet supports more file types than any other free tool (and most of the paid ones)

keep trying, I can confirm the application is 32 bit not 16 bit

Tbh, I use the windows extractor thing that is built in most of the time, and if it doesn't work, I will use 7Zip. I also used it to extract the updater too XD.

dunno what is going on for you then but I've just redownloaded it, unzipped it and ran it just fine on 64 bit windows, it is a 32 bit program.
