No, it's an engine swap. Why would there only be a V8 in a 90s Hirochi? There's already a boxer 4 in all generations and a 6 for the 2nd and 3rd. The parts and configs are mainly replicating the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th generations of the real Subaru Legacy (1st, 2nd, and 3rd for the outback).
