Petition to add Dry Rock Island back as an official map.

I hope it's allowed to do this here.
I would like to have Dry Rock Island added back into the game as an official map, it's just
an absolutely fabulous map with lots of fun.
I am aware that you can download it on the repo and I am also aware that it was replaced
by Jungle Rock Island.

 

you can download it on the repo though, why would it be added back, it has a much lower quality standard than current maps.

 

I know that I can download it through the repo, but it's just such an awesome map and it's a shame to see it removed from the vanilla game.

 

It`s one off the oldest maps in game so it is VERY outdated

Do you seriously want a map that has worse quality than new maps? Or you want devs to remaster it?

 

I just want to see the map back in action, I don't care if the devs decide to rework it. Both versions would probably be very fun to use.

 

have you driven on it at all in recent times? the map design is awful. there's bumps everywhere, nearly every corner has an inconsistent radius, and there are super sharp corners for no reason.
I agree that overhauling it would be cool, but adding it back in its current state is the dumbest thing i've heard in the last 5 2 minutes.

 

I have driven it, and it's good.

 

Dry Rock Island is my favorite official map,we need it back as official,i can upload a version here with AI support.

lol i noticed only now that is already a version with AI support.

 

DRI is an objectively bad map, and nostalgia isn't a good enough reason to bring it back. Please stop.

 

Honestly you could just use steam to downgrade to a point where dri was installed. then just copy the map and make it a mod.
