Downloader says error

After I enter my serial number the updater says " the updater is currently unavailable to update the software. Please consult the file update.log for more information."
Can anyone tell me why this is happening?

I waited so long for this update so you would expect to get good service if you know what I mean.

 

Well you wouldnt as its an alpha and your expectation should be non existent. But regardless, the error simply means the updater cannot connect to the server to start the update. Could be your connection (although that doesnt seem to be an issue with the new updater) or more likely the fact that the server is overloaded.

 

Yea mine gets almost done and give me the fatal error message cars are missing all of there parts or dont show up at all. all i wana do is play this kick *** game hope it works soon

Well you don't own the game because you don't have the badge.

 

not every new member verifies their account minutes after buying the game lol. no badge doesnt always = pirate or someone without the game...unless you like to assume things lol
