Dang, I really dig this concept for sure! If it's possible to make it look more like this ^ then that'd be like totally next level. As of now, it's still pretty great that you have it working on other vehicles!
Hmmm yeah I can try to edit the texture a bit, I made it myself with some basic Paint.net skills so it can use some improvement ^^'
I cannot wait for this! This is what will make BeamNG even more realistic, last thing we need is Tire Wear, Brake Fluid boiling, Radio, and windows that go up and down
Oh I can do the radio too already I coded one in the Vertex too, would be easily Transferrable into other cars
I hope the devs expand upon it and allow you to be able to pair your Spotify account, allowing you to play playlists in the game
Well my lua code relies on sound files that are already on my Pc, it’s pretty useless if you wanna use it as base for Sth that streams stuff
I added a bunch of new cars to the mod yesterday and will hopefully get all cars into the mod today. The textures have been changed to be less transparent too... look MUCH better imo!
Alright so, here‘s the plan! The mod is pretty much done, all default BeamNG vehicles have been added, brake temps adjusted, and I’m looking out for any modders that want to incorporate the brake glow into their mod. I’ll send it to some testers and look for any issues, if all goes well it goes online the next few days! Cheers!
Yipee! I can't wait! It's something that will make BeamNG.Drive a real alternative to the likes of Assetto Corsa or iRacing!
Actually, what if you could cut down on the brake smoke, since when you see glowing brake rotors, they typically don't steam or smoke, or at least as much as the game does
Well the glow starts at 400 deg C. That’s way before the smoking happens, at around 700 deg. So you’ll be fine there
