Should work natively too, I use it without emulating, works fine. Tho I can't remember if it required configuring in game or not as it's been a few years.
Steam supports the dual shock 4, no need to do anything else. Just pair the controller to your computer and launch through steam (works with non-steam games launched through steam as well) The defualt controls when done this way are a bit odd, so you'll have to rebind stuff in the options menu
i also use it without emulation but i think of getting a bluetooth adapter and ds4 windows to get it working for old games like nfs shift 2
I also used it until a month ago (I got a Xbox One controller) with DS4Windows. Works well. Be sure to map the clutch to the Left thumb UP position and disable every driving assistant so you can gradually release it as a normal car.
well i have xbox one controller plugged in to pc with cable and its still running , so i guess if you gonna plug it with cable , it will work with it too
