After I folowed the instructions BeamnNG declared my car as a broken mod... so I cant move the car at all in game.

Hello. I made a pre-facelift Tesla Model S after I saw a person recreate a bunch of S-Class Mercedes and got inspired. I followed all of the instructions, saved everything, zipped the file, and all that pops up is the car, but there is exhaust smoke, backfiring, and an actual engine sound, not the electric one. By the way the RPMs didn't even change either. Here is the zipped file.
Your file is packed wrong, the folder tree should be 2016_tesla_model_s_60d2.zip/vehicles/2016_tesla_model_s_60d. Also, I think your zip's name has to be 2016_tesla_model_s_60d.zip, because you probably have the original zip still in your mods folder (hence why nothing changed). Thank you guys for all of the help with my mod! I'll be sure to keep on making electric car mods like this one. So I should remove the other non-electric version that still has particulates/engine noises?
Yes, you have to :/ But, if you want to keep the thermal engine beside the electric engine, you can add it as a new part for your car. You just have to follow this tutorial: https://www.beamng.com/threads/tuto...on-cars-with-file-editing.71694/#post-1199985
I need help, I did exactly what you said, I have a 6.6 litre naturally aspirated V60°10, with a dual clutch 7 speed gearbox. I edited the files a you said, step by step, and it has the issue that when I exctract and put the sound files to their own folder at right place, the mod fails and doesn't work, wy???? Have I done something wrong???
Please, have a look at my file, and if i have done something wrong, you need to say it to me.... --- Post updated --- Ok,i found it!!! I simply leave the ''name'', wich is under the modifiers as it is, and i only change the 'name' on the filepath lines. Thanks for your help!
