v0.20-- Woah! Totally caught off guard on this one!

Remember last August when everyone was talking about the pending release of v0.17? We knew about it for weeks ahead of time, and the anxiousness of the anticipation was almost unbearable.

This one was like, wooosh... overnight. I never saw it coming. Woke up... there it was. Did anybody talk about this ahead of time, and I was just living under a rock? Or did this catch a lot of people by surprise? Just curious.

I haven't tried it out yet, but look forward to doing so.

 

Funny story, last night while laying in bed waiting to fall asleep, I had this jolt of excitement that I knew was about BeamNG but didn't know what it was for. Then when I woke up the next morning, I found out that the game had updated!

Do I have some kind of premonition ability, but only for game updates?!
Yeah, as if.

Also, as luck would have it, BeamNG updated yet again when I was just about to leave home (and my main computer) for the weekend. Oh well, at least I'll have something to look forward to coming home on Monday...

 

Yes, a lot of people never saw it coming. Very different from last year. In fact, when they talked about updates the night before last, I was presuming minor in-version updates (like a v0.19.5) update. It wasn't until yesterday when BeamNG themselves released those videos with Gabe playing his favorite song, that I realized that this must be the major move from 19 to 20.

Well yes, that might be quite possible. Check to see if it works for lotto tickets and choosing the correct numbers. Then you'll be rich and will have time to play BeamNG all day long, without work getting in the way! LOL

Yes true, at least that's certainly a positive spin on the situation. Have a safe trip home.
