invalid serial, no way to enter it.

so i downloaded the update, extracted the files clicked and a window that appears really fast (something about please enter yourserial number) and destroys itself only to error "invalid serial".

what can i do?

 

I get the same problem, "Installation aborted due to invalid serial number".

 

its terribly frustrating it erased the previous installation so im beamless.....

Thank you, I shall try installing again. I've read the serial numbers have been corrupted and new ones have to issued.....

where did you read that? Nobody has said that

 

Did you unzip the first folder and then put the contents from the temp fix zip into it and run the .exe?

 

I would record it, but I don't have desktop recording software that works properly and I don't want to delete the game because I finally got it working.

It starts by deleting the old game, then a box appears asking for the serial number, but without a space to type anything in. It disappears after a few seconds and another box comes up saying to buy the game from the website. At the end of the log is says "Installation aborted due to invalid serial number". Maybe it happens to XP users?

Edit: I tried to make it happen, but now that I have Beam working, it won't happen again.
