Hi, It'd be cool if you could for example drive in West Coast to a specific road to load another map (for example East Coast).
A really long tunnel or bridge would be so cool. Something Eurotunnel-inspired would be fun to do crashes or have road maintainence in it. I like the idea !
You want a >5 km bridge to connect the coasts of California and Maine? Someone's thinking with P0rtals
Not sure if he has a layout or not, but he said something along the lines of driving to a specific road on West Coast USA would be cool.
I was thinking Tunnel to connect the Utah and the bridge that's already there to connect to East Coast
I wouldn't think there were sense to connect non US based maps. --- Post updated --- I wouldn't think there were sense to connect non US maps together.
Would it not make more sense to use ferrys and planes to travel from one map to the other? Ofcourse the save/load function must make a comeback for that. Having them connected with an empty road/tunnel to hide loading screens seems like a worse option to me. Mostly due to longer loading times to keep framerates up, currently I have practically 0 FPS during loading screens. Ferrys could work basically just like Euro Truck Simulator 2s ferrys, and a similar function could be made for cargo planes for example.
