Maybe not a dummy, but I hope there will be a driver like in the FR 17. I mean a dummy would be nice too but not realistic, I don't think they do crash testing on this kind of vehicles

They obviously do crash testing, but not with dummies.

Edit: They do use dummies, my apologies.

Yes, sounds very angry, when its driving decently I'll record a video of some laps so you can hear it :D
Currently no plans to add in a dummy/driver, I might change my mind if the car feels too empty without one but currently no plans to do so.

That would be great but at least the option to add dummy would be good. FIA testing all open wheel cars with dummies just like they do with normal family cars.

like a race scenario, with some other cars, that you race.

Something i might consider, but would be low on the priority list, will keep it in mind though :)

Driving is getting there, engine ingame and working, main task currently is rigidifying the suspension as it is falling apart at >1G cornering forces.

Suspension falling apart at more than 1G cornering forces sounds like 30s Mercedes grand prix car suspension to me.
    Coming along nicely!

Wow there is so many people working on F1 style cars, but this looks the best by far!

damn this looks nice, how about an open alpha version for people to test and feedback bugs and stuff. I really want to drive that beauty!

one, i very much doubt you want to test it for "bugs"
just because you want to drive something doesn't mean you have to ask(beg) for it
    be patient, young one

like in grosjeans crash, will the car be able to catch on fire in huge crashes?

I doubt it, because that would be insensitive. Also, F1 hasn't had a fiery crash like that since the late 80s-early 90s, the increase in safety means that fiery crashes are a thing of the past. Grosjean's crash was an outlier because the chassis split in 2 and the fuel pickup ignited, so if the Formula 40 is made to remain solid in a crash, it makes no sense that it would catch fire.

    Realism is not insensitive.

I know, but still, realism. Also, this has probably been said before, but will it spilt in two?

I saw your teasers on it, it looks fantastic! But, is it maybe time for another progress update? Very excited with this project.
